Our workplace and its Officers and people in positions of influence and responsibility throughout
recognise the legal obligations to improve the environmental impact on services delivered to our
customers.
Our workplace will:
- Provide safe plant and systems of work
- Provide written procedures and instructions that protect the environment
- Ensure compliance with all environmental legislation and current industry standards
- Provide training, information, instruction, and supervision to all Workers, contractors,
visitors and customers to ensure the environment is protected
- Provide assistance and ongoing support to Workers regarding environmental issues
All Workers are responsible and will be held accountable for assistance in implementing this
policy.
Management will be responsible for actioning any requests or environmental issues raised
from Workers.
This will be measured by performance reviews by way of Quarterly Environmental
Systems and Documentation Reviews.
Management and people in positions of influence and responsibility will:
- Provide a workplace in a safe condition
- Be involved in developing, promoting and implementing environmental policies and
procedures
- Train Workers in the safest method to perform their work tasks
- Provide adequate resources and information to meet our workplaces’ commitment to
the environment
Our Workers will:
- Follow all procedures detailed within our workplace Environmental Policy and
Procedures
- Report any environmental hazard, incident or unsafe work practice to Management as
they occur.
